Laser welding process scheme for bearing cover on cylinder camshaft

The bearing cover on the cylinder camshaft is a key load-bearing component of the engine, which can withstand alternating loads and high temperature environments for a long time. It has strict requirements for welding accuracy, weld strength, and finished product stability. Traditional welding methods are prone to problems such as workpiece deformation, weld defects, and substandard accuracy. With mature laser welding technology and customized equipment solutions, Denai Laser has become the preferred choice for welding such precision components, fully meeting the needs of mass production and high-quality processing.

3、 Standardized welding process
Before welding, clean the 20mm area around the weld seam to remove oil stains and oxide scales. The assembly gap of the workpiece should be ≤ 0.05mm, and the misalignment should be ≤ 0.03mm. The workpiece is precisely clamped by a customized tool from Di Nai, using a segmented symmetrical welding process. First, perform 10mm positioning welding, and then complete the full welding operation. The swing frequency is 100Hz, the amplitude is 1mm, and the welding stress is dispersed. Natural cooling after welding, sampling and testing of metallography and hardness, the finished product hardness is stable at HB220-250, fully meeting the working condition standards.
